With T in the Park coming up this weekend (see you there) I thought this may prove useful. These little babies are gonna rock your world regardless of whether you’re relaxing at a garden party, rocking out at a festival or partying in Ibiza with the girls. They’re the perfect summer colours in formulas that are gonna stay put through pool days, summer sun and even the wildest parties. As always all the brands are cruelty free. They’re tried and tested, I’ve used these for nights out, days out, in rain, in sun, so they’re built to last trust me.

Zoeva Graphic Eyes

These are gonna be in my July favourites I can already tell. Nothing works better, I have oily skin and even that won’t make this budge. In the summer, particularly when I’m in a hurry or I’m at a festival I like to put  a bit of ‘Good Karma’ all over the lid if I’m feeling brave and ‘Nude Reflection’ if I’m not and I blend this all out with my finger. After that I put ‘Rock n Roll Bride’ around the rim on my eye. I think that if you have blue eyes then swap out ‘Good Karma’ for ‘Opulence’ and if you have green eyes use ‘New Jewels’. ‘Nude Reflections’ is a good universal colour. These liners are so comfy to wear and creamy on the lid that you won’t even feel them. You think Urban Decay’s liners are a holy grail? Think again, and these are half the price at only £7/$7.30.

NYX Liquid Suede

Now don’t act surprised these have made it to the list, I rave about them whenever and wherever I can to whoever will listen. They’re actually gorgeous and I’ll tell you now that you won’t find a better line of summer colours. Feeling cute? Try ‘Tea and Cookies’. Feeling dramatic? Try ‘Cherry Skies’. Feeling bold? Try ‘Orange County’. These have survived pasta, pizza, burgers, cocktails and even fish and chips so trust me when I say they’re not going anywhere in a hurry. They’re super easy to put on and dry matte with a creamy texture and no smell so all round good stuff. The packaging is sturdy and robust so this is just the thing to keep in your back pocket with no fear of it cracking and ruining those new shorts.

Barry M Sunset Curing/Coconut Infusion Nail Paint

Truth be told I have no idea where to begin. These things came out like mid-May I think and I’ve been in love ever since. I first got ‘Dark Side of the Shroom’ which is just the perfect sophisticated summer look, its a mauve purple and it goes with everything. Since then I’ve used ‘Bikini’ and ‘Aloha’ and they’ve both proven to be fairly resistant to general wear and tear so these are ideal for holidays and festivals alike. The colours are all beautiful but if you want to keep up with 2016’s trends then I’d go for ‘Dark Side of the Shroom’ or ‘Sunkissed’.

Lily Lolo Mineral Foundation

Lily Lolo is an indie brand that’s 90% vegan, and this powder is one of the vegan products. You know yourself that no matter whether it’s -10 or 40 degrees, if you’re at a festival you will sweat and with the best will in the world that cannot be helped. This powder is mattifying and works all day to keep you matte, meaning you can keep going without worrying if your forehead is out-glowing your cheekbones. The foundation is lightweight but medium-coverage, it just needs to be buffed into the skin and left, be sure to remember to go a shade darker though as you’ll no doubt be sunkissed by the time August rolls by.  For reference I’m normally ‘Popcorn’ but by summer I use ‘Warm Peach’.

With these your lovely faces will certainly be some of the most beautiful in the crowds or on the beaches. Of course don’t forget to lay down a layer on sun tan lotion before you go ahead with makeup, no one wants to wake up to peeling skin, and a quick smoothing of after sun in the evening will put you in good steads for the morning after if you have the time. I hope you all enjoy the summer ahead lovelies and let me know what looks you put together from these heavy-duty liners, lipsticks and lily lolo’s.
